Colombian law firm Ibarra Rimón has announced the opening of an office in the city of Medellín, and the addition of new partner Natalia Martinez Villa, who will run the new office. Natalia has more than 30 years of experience in business and corporate law, both in the public and private sector.

She graduated in law from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and completed postgraduate studies at the Universidad de los Andes and Universidad Externado de Colombia. Prior to joining the firm, she held positions of great responsibility in private business associations, high impact legislative monitoring and M&A transactions in a number of Latin American markets. Her vast experience is a valuable factor that complements Ibarra Rimón’s legal team, the firm said in a statement.

Founded in 1993 by Gabriel Ibarra Pardo, Ibarra Rimón has established itself as one of the most recognized Colombian firms in the areas of competition law, international trade and customs law, advising and representing various national and international companies.
