Embracing Diversity

At Rimon, we recognize and value the importance and benefits of diversity. We know that creating an inclusive and equitable environment for attorneys and staff leads to a stronger team, and that diverse perspectives and experiences not only enrich our own lives but add value to the excellent service we offer to clients. We also recognize that the legal industry and private practice, in particular, have sadly lagged in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). We strongly believe that we can do better, and we are committed to doing so. Our firm is weaving a rich and multi-representational culture where diverse voices are heard, valued, and empowered every day.

We recruit, retain, and advance people of diverse backgrounds at all levels of Rimon and work to remove identity-based obstacles. The purely objective partner compensation structure, flexibility, and transparency of the Rimon model inherently eliminates many of the barriers that women and those traditionally underrepresented face at traditional law firms. It allows us to attract the best talent regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, religious beliefs, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, family, and socioeconomic background.

Even though our compensation model is wholly transparent, we know this is not enough to build a robust and diverse core of attorneys and support professionals. Accordingly, our recruiting and human capital professionals are focused on finding the top diverse talent wherever they may be. Our goal is to be known as the most diverse and inclusive law firm in the United States. We believe that we have the right model, the right mindset, and the right motivation to make it happen.

One of the greatest assets in moving the needle forward in our DEI efforts is having sustained leadership commitment, intentionality and accountability. Leading by example, our Managing Partner Juan Zuniga is one of the first Mexican-Americans to ever serve as the firmwide Managing Partner of a global law firm and is actively disrupting the status quo to make Rimon the law firm of the future.
