Rimon Law welcomes Sean Byrne as Investment Management Partner in its San Francisco office

San Francisco, CA – Rimon is proud to welcome Sean Byrne as an Investment Management Partner in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Mr. Byrne joins Rimon from Morrison & Foerster.
Mr. Byrne focuses his practice on the investment management industry, handling all aspects of the formation and operation of venture capital, real estate and other private investment funds, including partnerships, limited liability companies, tax, ERISA, the regulation of investment advisors and public disclosure laws.
He represents first time fund sponsors, experienced fund managers and institutional investors including sovereign wealth funds and government pension plans. Mr. Byrne’s practice is international in focus, serving U.S., international, and cross-border clients and structures.
Mr. Byrne has been recognized as an IFLR1000 Rising Star for Investment Funds. He was also a finalist for the 2020 NYU Grunin Prize for Law and Social Entrepreneurship, an award which recognizes the contribution of lawyers in advancing the goals of sustainability and human development in business.
Mr. Byrne joins Rimon Partners Debbie Klis, Mark Diamond, Benjamin Douglas, Geoffrey Perusse and James Killmond in the firm’s Private Investment Funds and Fund Formation practices.

Mr. Byrne graduated from Georgetown University Law Center (J.D.) and from University of California, Berkeley (B.A.)
