Seattle, WA (December 1, 2014) – Rimon, P.C. has added Tax and Estate planning attorney Filmore Rose as a partner in the firm’s Seattle office.

Mr. Rose, who has repeatedly been named both to Best Lawyers in America and to SuperLawyers in Washington and in Northern California, joins Rimon from the Seattle firm of Lane Powell PC.

Mr. Rose represents individuals and businesses in tax and estate planning matters, as well as the establishment and operation of charitable and tax-exempt organizations. He has been particularly active in international estate planning and foreign real estate ownership issues, representing both in-bound and out-bound clients. He has significant experience in handling wealth transfers, probate and trust administration issues, and the creation and governance of charitable endowment funds.

Additionally, Mr. Rose has been very active in business succession planning, business entity formation, and law firm administration and staff development.

At Rimon, Mr. Rose is joining a firm widely recognized as an innovator in the legal field, offering full service teams of highly-experienced attorneys with the ability to adapt to client needs. Rimon’s corporate, litigation, intellectual property, tax and private client attorneys work as a close-knit team throughout its 14 offices internationally. Prior to working at Lane Powell, Mr. Rose was a Director at Howard Rice, a Shareholder at Hopkins & Carley and a Partner at Beck Ross Bismonte. He began his career as a law clerk to Hon. John A. MacKenzie, a U.S. District Court Judge in the Eastern District of Virginia, and he later practiced for a number of years in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  He continues to practice actively in three states – Washington, California and New Mexico.

Mr. Rose received and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University Law School, a J.D. from University of Chicago Law School, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
