Paris  – Rimôn PC is pleased to announce the opening of its Paris office, effective February 1st, 2021. Rimôn’s presence in Paris follows its expansion into four new international jurisdictions – AustraliaGermanyColombia, and the United Kingdom – and four new U.S. jurisdictions – TexasIdahoAlabama, and Oregon – in 2020. Rimôn will be the first distributed law firm to operate in France.

Paris will be the firm’s fifth European location, with offices already in BerlinMoscowWarsaw, and, very recently, London.

Olivia Lê Horovitz, a M&A and Private Equity attorney, will be joining Rimôn as the founding partner of the Paris office. After spending several years as a partner at Kahn & Associés law firm, she founded the Paris office of K&L Gates in 2008 and joined Simon Associés in 2018.

Olivia Lê Horovitz has extensive experience practicing corporate law.  Her practice is primarily focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions as well as private equity transactions. She represents clients in a variety of complex multijurisdictional acquisition transactions, including acquisition or sale of businesses, distressed companies, divestitures, spin-offs, recapitalizations, restructurings, joint ventures and complex commercial contracts. Ms. Lê Horovitz regularly advises US, European, Israeli, and Chinese companies wishing to invest in Europe through private and public acquisitions as well as French companies looking to expand internationally. She also advises French and foreign investment funds and strategic investors in their financing and acquisition activities as well as private and public companies at all stages of their development.

On the counseling side, Ms. Lê Horovitz advises clients on a full range of domestic and internationally sensitive corporate governance and responsibility issues, including social and environmental responsibility (ESG). She also helps companies navigate European and French regulations in the growing industry of cannabis and CBD.

“The ability to offer seamless legal services across borders has become critical, and our disruptive law model – distributed, digital, and cost effective – is under increasing demand globally. Our clients increasingly turn to us for support on complex cross-border transactions. The opening of our Paris office reflects our commitment to the French market and to providing truly seamless, modern, global legal services to our clients worldwide.  It is an exciting step in our expansion into continental Europe, and we could not be more thrilled to be taking this step with Olivia. Her deep experience advising clients in connection with cross border M&A, investments, and corporate governance will add enormous value and insight for our clients.  We look forward to leveraging our presence and expertise in this important financial center to support clients in France, Europe, and worldwide,” said Rimôn CEO and Founder, Michael Moradzadeh.

“Rimôn’s disruptive business model is based on autonomy, transparent practices, and the use of cutting-edge technologies, leading to agility and efficiency. Rimôn offers an alternative way of practicing law and serving clients with the reach of a global and multidisciplinary law firm, attracting experienced attorneys drawn from the best law firms. For me, joining Rimôn represents an exciting challenge to contribute to the establishment of such an innovative firm in France. Avoiding the pitfalls of working in silos and hierarchy of more traditional law firms, Rimôn’s organizational culture ensures all lawyers are actively collaborative. This yields comprehensive attention and cohesion across all practice areas, creating value for clients. Having established the office in Paris, we are looking forward to growing our team in the coming months”, said Ms. Lê Horovitz.

The opening of the Paris office reflects Rimôn’s growing international team.  In 2020, the firm added international Partners: Andrew ReillyRichard ErnestRodrigo Castillo CottinKatie HymanMikhail Usubyan, and Sarah (Xiaohua) Zhao, and counsel, Daria von Mensenkampff.  More are expected to join the firm in 2021.

Rimôn’s international offices represent clients in connection with a wide variety of legal challenges, including litigation and dispute resolution, cross-border M&A, investments, financing, capital markets, and real estate transactions, tax, intellectual property, as well as cybersecurity and data privacy.
