Young Jun Roh
Partner
Jun Roh focuses his practice on cross-border corporate, commercial and transactional matters, with a particular emphasis on Korea, the broader Asia-Pacific region and global business operations. He advises multinational companies, foreign investors, and institutional clients on their complex U.S. transactions, cross-border commercial agreements and multi-jurisdictional regulatory considerations. Jun is fluent in Korean and deeply familiar with Korean business culture, enabling him to bridge legal and cultural differences for clients engaged in global commerce.
Jun’s global practice is complemented by a broad foundation in domestic U.S. legal matters, including experience advising public sector entities, including municipalities and counties, as well as private clients across a range of commercial matters. His multidisciplinary background—spanning itigation, estate planning, real estate, and complex advisory matters—provides him with a practical and comprehensive perspective when navigating cross-border transactions, regulatory frameworks, and structuring deals involving U.S. and Asian counterparties and beyond.
Jun’s professional achievements have been widely recognized. He received the prestigious Sandra Day O’Connor Award for Professional Service from the American Inns of Court at the Supreme Court of the United States, honoring outstanding pro bono and public interest contributions by early-career attorneys. He has also been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
Jun is admitted to practice in New Mexico and Wyoming, as well as before the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He has been appointed to The Lawyers Committee of the National Center for State Courts, where he collaborates with leading attorneys to advance public understanding of the importance of an independent judiciary. He also serves as a faculty member at High Point University School of Law. He is a current member of the International Bar Association and is active in IBA events.
Prior to joining Rimon, Jun held partnership and judicial clerkship positions that provided him with a strong foundation in litigation, real estate, and complex commercial matters.
