Continuing its global expansion, Rimon has added Tax and Private Client attorney Rodrigo Castillo Cottin as a Partner in the firm’s new Bogota, Colombia office.

Mr. Castillo Cottin joins Rimon from Baker McKenzie, where he was also a Partner.

Bogota marks the 7th new office that Rimon has opened in 2020, and the fourth international one, following newly minted offices in Sydney, Berlin, and Dubai.  Mr. Castillo Cottin is the 27th Partner to join Rimon this year.

Mr. Castillo Cottin advises multijurisdictional enterprises, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals and families on wealth management matters, international tax law, planning, and compliance, inheritance and estate planning, exchange of information, and amnesty programs.

Mr. Castillo Cottin earned his Specialization in Tax from Universidad Externado de Colombia and his Advanced Master’s in International Tax Law from Leiden University.
