ABA Appoints Rimon Partner Co-Chair of Russian Eurasian Law Committee of the Section of International Law

The ABA has appointed Rimon partner, Pamela Marie Egan, to a two-year term as the Co-Chair of the Russian Eurasian Law Committee of the American Bar Association, Section of International Law, effective, August 2015.
Ms. Egan belongs to Rimon’s stellar Corporate, Financial Services, and Litigation teams, specializing in bankruptcy, restructuring, and dispute resolution, locally, regionally, and internationally. She successfully represents domestic, multinational and Russian companies in investment, commercial, and post-M&A disputes. She speaks Russian fluently.
Ms. Egan is a Senior Research Fellow at the Berkeley Center for Law Business and the Economy at UC Berkeley, Berkeley School of Law where she is spearheading an investigation into legal obstacles to innovation in Russia. She transformed a volunteer project with the Innovation Working Group of the US-Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission into an in-depth survey of Russian investors, entrepreneurs and academics in five Russian cities. Ms. Egan holds a Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Rating™ of AV Preeminent® rating, the highest rating for professional ethics and legal ability by an attorney’s peers. Fewer than 8% of attorneys have earned this rating.
