Venture Capital and Technology Attorney, Dror Futter, will be a panelist at this PLI Seminar. The panel will go over the negotiation of a mock term sheet for a Series A investment based on the forms of the National Venture Capital Association, discuss how practice varies by region and provide insights into current market terms and ranges. Dror is a member of the Model Forms Drafting Group of the National Venture Capital Association.

This seminar aims to provide a thorough understanding of current market practice, deal terms and conditions, transaction documents and applicable securities, regulatory and ethical issues critical in the venture capital business.

Dror Futter is a Partner in the areas of Venture Capital and Technology. He holds more than 20 years of high tech and business experience. he represents emerging companies and their investors, as well as a wide range of technology companies.
Mr. Futter has been in almost every legal role in the venture capital community. He started as the General Counsel of New Venture Partners, a VC fund focused on corporate spinouts. While there, he helped to form funds, and advised multiple start-ups and corporate spin-offs in the information technology and telecommunications industries, as well as serving as the venture fund’s legal counsel. In addition, during his tenure at New Venture Partners, Mr. Futter negotiated, structured and documented strategic alliances with Lucent Technologies, British Telecom and Philips and handled the acquisitions of assets and IP of over twenty ventures from those companies and others such as Intel, IBM, Boeing, Freescale, Unilever, IDEO, Maxim and Telstra.
