Transactional and Individual Tax Attorney Melinda Fellner Joins Rimon’s New York and New Jersey Offices

New York April 25, 2016 – Continuing to grow its transactional tax practice, Rimon Law has added Melinda Fellner as a Partner in its New York and New Jersey offices.

Ms. Fellner joins Rimon from Norris McLaughlin & Marcus P.A., where she also worked as a Partner.

Melinda represents clients in federal, state and international tax issues in both planning and transactional matters. Her work includes business structuring, mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, as well as structuring joint ventures and partnerships and assisting in drafting operating agreements.

In addition to her transactions representations, Ms. Fellner represents individuals in tax and estate planning, including such matters as transfers of start-ups and family businesses. She has been particularly active in offering planning advice to physicians and their practices.

Ms. Felnner is the ninth tax attorney to join Rimon, and the third in the last year, all with the ability to handle both individual and transactional tax issues. The tax group is one of the cornerstones of the firm’s highly innovative, full-service team of attorneys operating in 17 offices internationally. Rimon and its founders have been recognized by the Financial Times on multiple occasions as well as the American Bar Association’s ABA Journal, Harvard Law School, and Stanford Law School for innovation in the practice of law. Ms. Fellner received her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her B.A. from Cornell University.
