Swati Samanth

Swati Samanth serves as Senior Counsel of Strategic Initiatives in the Office of the Managing Partner.  She also practices Intellectual Property and Family Law in Rimon’s San Francisco and Los Angeles offices.  Swati brings over 15 years of litigation experience to Rimon.  Prior to joining Rimon, she practiced dependency, family, and delinquency law.  She also opened a middle school in East Oakland, California where she then served as Chief Operations Officer from its launch through its first graduating class, prior to making the transition back to the legal field.

Swati holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.  While attending UC Hastings, she was a member of Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, symposium chair and she served as president of the South Asian Law Students Association.  Swati earned a Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and Philosophy with an Emphasis in Ethics from the University of Southern California.  While at USC, she participated in the Unruh Institute of Politics, through which she secured an internship in the U.S. Attorney General’s office as well as in the White House.  Swati has been a guest lecturer at Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley, and San Francisco State University.
