Mr. Trachtenberg is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and The Phi Beta Kappa Society, the oldest honor society for the liberal arts and sciences in the United States.  He is on the Board of the Bankinter Foundation in Madrid and the Ditchley Foundation in England. He is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Public Administration. Additionally, Mr. Trachtenberg has chaired the Rhodes Scholarships Selection Committee for Maryland and the District of Columbia.
