California Women Lawyers (“CWL”), the only statewide organization dedicated to the advancement of women in both law and society, is holding its 39th Annual Dinner & Foundation Silent Auction on October 10, 2013, at the Fairmont Hotel, in San Jose. Each year, in conjunction with the California State Bar Annual Conference, CWL invites judges, bar leaders, and CWL members and friends from throughout the state to its Annual Dinner. The Dinner celebrates the organization’s achievements and acknowledges the achievements of a number of notable women during the year. This event is considered the highlight of the State Bar Conference, as its headlining formal dinner. Awards are presented during the program to exemplary women leaders in the law, and the incoming CWL President and Board of Governors will be installed by California Supreme Court Chief Justice, Tani Cantil-Sakauye.
