Rimon PC is pleased to announce the arrival of Brian Keeler, Richard de Bodo, Stacey Friends, Peter McLaughlin and Mengmeng Luo to the global law firm. The six attorneys located in Boston, Washington D.C., Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and St. Louis enhance the firm’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A), trusts and estates, litigation, intellectual property, data privacy and cybersecurity practices.
This latest recruitment update arrives on the heels of a series of announcements including Rimon PC’s recent launch of a Mexico-focused practice, to its exciting acquisitions and business combinations as undertaken with Davidson, Berquist, Jackson and Gowdey and Silverman Acampora.

Based in Boston, Brian Keeler has more than 35 years of experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and equity investment transactions and has advised clients on more than 180 insured M&A transactions, ranging from less than $10 million to more than $7 billion.
Stacey Friends is an intellectual property attorney in Boston who advises on all aspects of brand selection, as well as trademark clearance, registration, and enforcement, both nationally and internationally, for large and small companies alike. She has represented clients before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board (TTAB), in opposition, cancellation and appeal proceedings and currently serves both as Chair of the Communications Subcommittee of the Law Firm Committee for the International Trademark Association (INTA) and as co-chair of the New England Chapter of the Copyright Society.
Peter McLaughlin is a cybersecurity, data privacy and technology litigator based in Boston, with over 20 years of international experience providing strategic counsel to companies across a broad range of innovative technologies and industries. He has prior experience as a global privacy officer for a leading Fortune-20 enterprise in addition to previously serving as Assistant General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer for Cardinal Health, as well as Assistant General Counsel for Sun Microsystems.
Recognized as one of the top trial lawyers in California and halving his time between offices in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles, Richard de Bodo litigates high-stakes, complex, and cutting-edge cases for the world’s leading technology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences companies, as well as for other prominent businesses, individuals, and early-stage companies. He has earned significant victories and multimillion-dollar accolades in federal and state courts throughout the United States, including multiple appellate courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), the U.S. Patent Office, arbitration tribunals, and other forums.
Counsel, Mengmeng Luo joins Rimon as a litigator based in the firm’s newly opened St. Louis, Missouri office. Mengmeng Luo has deep experience representing domestic and international clients in complex litigation and has served as lead counsel on numerous product liability and business litigation cases, and intellectual property litigation matters. She has comprehensive knowledge and proficiency across all phases of the litigation process, and strengthens Rimon’s litigation expertise in the Midwest, with court admissions across Illinois and Missouri.
