Kansas City, MO — Rimon is proud to welcome experienced litigator Steven M. Aaron as a Partner in its Kansas City office.

Mr. Aaron joins Rimon from Dentons US LLP, where he was also a Partner.

A leading white collar and government investigations defense lawyer with over 28 years of experience, Mr. Aaron has tried more than 45 civil and criminal jury trials in state and federal courts, defending clients in criminal prosecutions, government investigations and enforcement actions, as well as representing clients as both plaintiffs and defendants in general and complex commercial litigation.

Mr. Aaron previously served as a state assistant prosecuting attorney in Jackson County, Missouri. He was also a partner at Husch Blackwell. Mr. Aaron’s practice covers diverse subject matter including litigation under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the False Claims Act (FCA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).  Mr. Aaron has represented both individuals and companies across a wide range of industries including health care, financial services, construction and retail. He represents clients in criminal and regulatory investigations and proceedings conducted by federal agencies and/or their state and local counterparts.

Mr. Aaron is one of a very select few lawyers honored by BTI Consulting as a “Client Service All-Star,” based solely on interviews with more than 300 corporate counsel and leading legal decision-makers.

Mr. Aaron joins Rimon’s attorneys Geoffrey Fasal and Patrick Kuehl in the firm’s growing Kansas City office.

On joining Rimon, Mr. Aaron said, “After practicing law for over 28 years, both in the public and private sector, most notably at large law firms, I came to the realization that the practice of law has become more about the business of law, to the detriment of clients and the services attorneys perform for those clients. I decided to join Rimon for its entrepreneurial spirit that breeds teamwork throughout its multiple practice areas, so I can focus on being a lawyer and executing services for my current and future clients as true “business partners”, without the bureaucracy of law firm management that prevents expert advice at a reasonable cost. I am looking forward to providing the Rimon experience to my business partners”.

“Steven’s impressive background as both a prosecutor and defense counsel has given him deep insight in handling trials and government investigations. We expect his experience to be a benefit for our clients and our growing litigation and regulatory groups,” said Michael Moradzadeh, CEO and Founding Partner of Rimon. “Over the last few years, Kansas City has become an important player in the legal world, especially in litigation. We are very happy to be growing our strong Kansas City litigation team.”

Mr. Aaron graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law (J.D.) and from the University of Missouri (BGS).
