Rimon Law Welcomes Seasoned Transactional Lawyer Theodore Ghorra as Partner in its New York Office

Rimon Law welcomes corporate and capital markets attorney Theodore Ghorra, who has closed hundreds of corporate and capital market transactions, as a Partner on their Corporate Team in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Ghorra joins Rimon from Nixon Peabody LLP, where he was a Partner.
Among the hundreds of transactions closed by Mr. Ghorra include public and private offerings, as well as a variety of other transactional matters. In addition, Mr. Ghorra also represents clients in addressing their needs by partnering with practice area specific colleagues on IP, realty, litigation, life science, executive compensation, medical device, white collar, consumer product, estate planning and other client related issues.
Prior to working at Nixon Peabody, Mr. Ghorra worked as a senior associate with Proskauer LLP in New York City.
At Rimon, Mr. Ghorra brings his transactional law expertise to a national Corporate Team of over 40 Partners, including Peng Chen, John Hanley, Ella Cohen, Lillian Stenfeldt, and Maxim Waldbaum who also joined Rimon this year. The Corporate Team advises companies ranging from early-stage enterprises to large public corporations, as well as financial institutions, on almost every type of corporate matter. With Rimon’s decentralized business model, Mr. Ghorra can customize his practice to fit the needs of his varied base of clients, individually.

Mr. Ghorra earned a J.D. from the Brooklyn Law School, where he was a Lisle Merit Scholar, Class of 1968 Merit Scholar, Articles Editor of Law Review and Dean’s List Awardee. He’s active in pro bono matters and has represented pro bono clients in the areas of Healthcare, Catholic School Education, the Holocaust Project and the arts.
