Rimon Law is proud to welcome Corporate attorney Greg Krafka as a partner in its new Houston, Texas office.

Mr. Krafka joins Rimon from Winstead PC, where he was a Shareholder. Mr. Krafka focuses on mergers and acquisitionssecurities offerings, joint ventures, corporate governance, and commercial agreements. He also regularly serves as outside general counsel for private company clients.

Mr. Krafka represents oil and gas, the broader energy, and technology sector clients. He also assists companies in the petrochemicals, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and real estate industries. Mr. Krafka is the fifth corporate partner to join Rimon in 2020. The firm has also added Debbie Klis (D.C.), Alan Chen (L.A.), Richard Ernest (Dubai), and Dirk Hamann (Berlin), all of whom have worked on industry-shaping deals in recent years. The Corporate team advises companies ranging from early-stage enterprises to large public corporations, as well as private equity funds and financial institutions, in a wide range of sophisticated transactions and matters.

Prior to starting his law career, Mr. Krafka was a Fulbright Scholar in Hong Kong, where he conducted empirical economic research. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves, rising to the rank of Sergeant/Squad Leader.

He also previously worked as a corporate attorney at Skadden Arps and Baker Botts.

Mr. Krafka earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School where he was Senior Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, an M.A. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he was magna cum laude, and a B.S. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was a Chancellor’s Scholar.
