Miami, FL – Rimon is pleased to welcome Sonia Oliveri as an Immigration Partner in the firm’s Miami Office.

Ms. Oliveri joins Rimon from Kelley Kronenberg, where she was also a Partner.

Ms. Oliveri is a highly accomplished immigration attorney, assisting corporate clients, foreign corporations and investors in complex transactions and immigration matters. Her practice is focused on the EB-5 and E-2 treaty investor programs, and on L-1 intracompany transferee visa applications.

Ms. Oliveri consults foreign nationals on obtaining green cards and works with employers and human resources departments on I-9, H-1B and LCA compliance. She frequently advises businesses on regulatory compliance issues including employment-eligibility verification, E-Verify and I-9 audits, and internal audits and reviews.

Fluent in six languages, Ms. Oliveri brings a rare international business and multilingual background to the EB-5 arena. Her thorough understanding of the broad issues associated with business migration to the U.S. enables her to recognize, and communicate to clients, many of the complex nuances of the U.S. business immigration process outside of the traditional application filings with USCIS.

Ms. Oliveri speaks English, Farsi, Italian, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

Ms. Oliveri will be the first Partner in Rimon’s new immigration practice. She joins recent additions to the firm that include Steven P. EichelJoseph FerrucciHerman Enayati and Sarah Zhao.

Ms. Oliveri graduated from Nova Southeastern University (J.D., cum laude, Dean’s list) and Roma Tre University (J.D., summa cum laude).
