Birmingham — Opening its 31st office globally, Rimon Law welcomes Financial Services Partner Ken Weinberg and Counsel Jen Howard to its new Birmingham, Alabama office.

Mr. Weinberg and Ms. Howard join Rimon from Baker Donelson where Mr. Weinberg held the position of Shareholder and Ms. Howard as Counsel.

Mr. Weinberg focuses his practice on the equipment leasing and finance industry, representing the full range of participants, equipment, facilities, and structures. He regularly publishes articles and lectures on issues that are unique to this vital part of the economy.

Ms. Howard represents banks, captive finance companies, financial institutions, and other participants in connection with project finance, equipment leasing, and equipment finance transactions. Her experience includes advising clients in connection with construction loans, term loans, and other types of financings related to energy generation facilities, such as anaerobic digesters, landfill-gas-to-energy facilities, solar facilities, and natural-gas-fired plants.

Ms. Howard earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude, where she was the Managing Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property, and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, magna cum laude.
