Rimon Law Continues Growth Trend with Three New Attorneys Joining the Firm in July

Rimon law is pleased to announce the arrival of three new attorneys to the firm.

Daniel Lula, Joseph Callister and Susan Gray join the firm, expanding its Litigation, Employment, Real Estate and Global Fraud, Investigations and Asset Recovery practices.

“We are thrilled to welcome Daniel, Joseph and Susan to the firm. Each of these attorneys bring new expertise to our firm,” said Rimon Managing Partner, Juan Zúñiga.  “Daniel and Joseph bring litigation expertise to Boston, New Hampshire and Texas.  We are also very pleased to be expanding our Global Fraud, Investigations and Asset Recovery practice with the addition of Susan Gray, which has become an increasingly important area of law with the sophistication and prevalence of global fraud.”

Daniel Lula joins Rimon as a Litigation and Employment Partner in Boston and Los Angeles. Daniel has 24 years of litigation experience, having successfully represented a range of businesses and nonprofits – from military contractors and financial services companies, manufacturers and property management companies to adoption agencies and treatment centers – in a wide variety of cases in state and federal courts and arbitration tribunals. He also has extensive experience advising and representing nonprofit entities, including religious and community organizations, in corporate governance and employment matters.

Daniel is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and California. He joins Rimon from BakerHostetler, where he was a Partner.

On his move to Rimon, Daniel said: “In this third decade of the 21st century, my clients deserve not just excellent legal services, but representation that is fast, flexible, cost-efficient, and utilizes the latest technology.  Rimon’s platform empowers me to deliver when it counts the most.”

Joseph Callister joins Rimon as a litigation and real estate partner in Dallas.  Joseph has advocated for clients across a wide range of industries, disputed issues, and jurisdictions, including substantial experiencing handling real estate; loan/collateral disputes; trade secret, unfair competition, and intellectual property actions; gaming compliance and litigation; employment-related disputes, including non-compete actions; non-party subpoena compliance; and general business contract disputes. In addition to his experience as a trial lawyer, Joseph is an experienced appellate lawyer, obtaining favorable results for clients in recent appeals before the United States Supreme Court and Texas Supreme Court.

Joseph joins Rimon after thirteen years with Wick Philips Gould & Martin, LLP, where he was a Partner. On his move Joseph said: “I am thrilled to join Rimon and offer clients the collective expertise of such an amazing collection of lawyers across the world. Rimon’s unique approach provides the flexibility and resources to deliver value-focused legal services consistent with how clients conduct business in the post-pandemic world.”

Susan Gray joins the firm as an Investigative Associate in San Francisco. Susan joins Partner, Neal Levin in the firm’s Global Fraud, Investigations and Asset Recovery practice. She has over 12 years of experience in investigations, and prior experience as staff attorney and Lead Senior Investigator at the San Francisco Department of Police Accountability (DPA), where she led hundreds of investigations of allegations of police misconduct, including officer-involved shootings. Susan graduated Harvard University (B.A.) and University of California, Hastings College of the Law (J.D.) and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Rimon Partner Neal Levin, who founded the firm’s Global Fraud, Investigations and Asset Recovery practice last year said, “We’re very much looking forward to having Susan on our team.  She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from the world of fraud, investigations and asset recovery.  Our team continues to expand in these areas domestically and internationally and we’re excited to have Susan be a part of our growth.”

Rimon has grown rapidly since its inception, and after a historical growth rate in 2023, has continued steady growth in 2024. Rimon Recruiting Partner Ed Wisneski attributes continued growth to the firm’s model which includes flexibility around rates. “Rates at big law firms have become excessive. Law firm management impose excessive rates on attorneys who in turn, pass those on to clients. Flow on effects include attorney burnout and poor client retention. At Rimon, management does not dictate rates to attorneys. As a result, our attorneys are able to control their own rates, allowing us to offer prices which are highly competitive in our market.”
