U.S. News’ evaluation of how a law firm performs on each of the 6 metrics mentioned above is based on subjective analysis based on an editorially curated selection of publicly available employee opinions and other information.
To create our list of the Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms, we adjusted the weights of the six metrics from the weights used in our general Best Companies to Work For list. The weights are adjusted to reflect data specific to law firms compared to public companies (such as promotion to partner). Adjusting the weights also allows us to emphasize metrics that are uniquely available to law firms. Read more here.
