Frankfurt/Main – Rimon’s German partner firm, Rimon Falkenfort is pleased to welcome two new partners, Dr. Thomas Koch and Peter Bert in Frankfurt.

Both partners have many years of professional experience and complement the firm’s existing practice groups.

Dr. Thomas Koch joins the firm’s corporate and finance practices. He has more than fifteen years of professional experience at firms including Linklaters and Luther, and was most recently head of the Cologne office of Andersen law firm. He focuses his practice on advising banks, financial service providers and fund managers on matters of banking supervisory and investment law. He has extensive expertise in advising venture capital funds and supporting complex transactions in the field of venture capital financing.

“We are broadening our regulatory expertise in Germany with a financial market specialist with access to venture capital funds and venture capitalists, who will further develop our networking with our US practice,” said Prof. Dr. Bernd Geier.

With Peter Bert, lic.oec.int., join’s Rimon Falkenfort as a Litigation partner, who regularly acts both as counsel and as arbitrator in national and international arbitration proceedings. Peter joins the firm from Taylor Wessing, where he was partner for almost twenty years. Peter represents pharmaceutical and medical technology companies in complex litigations and focuses on contentious corporate law, cross-border proceedings and post-M&A transaction disputes. He is a member of the Legislative Committee on Civil Procedure Law of the German Bar Association.
