Overview of the Course
This timely program, presented by Joseph Rosenbaum, Partner, Rimon, PC, provides essential guidance on the Federal Trade Commission’s recent regulatory activities, designed for attorneys advising businesses on compliance with FTC regulations in advertising, marketing, privacy, and consumer protection. Over the past year, the FTC has dramatically expanded its regulatory framework and enforcement efforts, particularly in response to emerging technologies like generative AI that collect vast amounts of data and create new content. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Commission’s updated guidelines, new rules, and enforcement priorities that affect virtually every business with an online presence or consumer-facing operations.
The program delivers practical analysis of crucial regulatory developments, including the new ban on fake reviews, updated endorsement guidelines, subscription cancellation requirements, and children’s privacy protections. These insights will enable legal practitioners to provide strategic counsel to clients navigating an increasingly complex regulatory landscape where FTC enforcement actions are becoming more aggressive and penalties more severe.
