New York – Joseph I. Rosenbaum, a leading nationally and internationally recognized commercial lawyer, has joined Rimon Law as a Partner in its New York office.  Mr. Rosenbaum joins Rimon from Reed Smith where he was previously a partner.

Mr. Rosenbaum represents major multinational companies, emerging growth businesses, as well as small to medium size companies, individual investors, entrepreneurs and talent.  His experience includes 17 years as in-house counsel at American Express, including expatriate service as VP & General Counsel of American Express Canada. He has served as outside General Counsel to the Interactive Advertising Bureau, the Advertising Research Foundation, as well as AHAA: The Voice of Hispanic Advertising.

His experience is global and expansive, giving him the ability to deftly handle small matters responsively, as well as sophisticated and complex multinational transactions, with practical, high quality and cost-effective counsel and representation. Joe works with clients in financial services, e/m-commerce and payment systems, traditional, online and mobile. He works with film, television, music and publishing clients in the media and entertainment business; with airlines, lodging companies and travel related service providers; with advertisers, ad agencies and ad publishing networks, including multicultural marketing professionals and he has broad global experience, domestically and internationally, in promotions, loyalty-rewards and co-branding.

Joe’s background and experience is unparalleled and extraordinary as an international, corporate-commercial transactional lawyer.  His work over the years has given him the ability to counsel clients skillfully with respect to privacy and data protection, security, fraud and risk management. His understanding of emerging legal and regulatory issues that relate to digital, online and mobile applications in virtually every industry, make Joe highly sought after by clients looking for insightful support from an advisor with business acumen, as well as legal skill.

Mr. Rosenbaum received his J.D. from the New York Law School and his M.S. and B.S. in Chemistry from City College CUNY.

In addition to work for clients, Mr. Rosenbaum serves on a number of advisory boards, including the New York Law School Innovation Center for Law and Technology and the Center for the Study of Law, Science and Innovation at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in Tempe, Arizona.
