Maxim Waldbaum Joins Rimon’s Intellectual Property Team in New York

New York City – Noted first chair litigator Maxim “Mac” Waldbaum joins Rimon as a Partner in its Litigation and Intellectual Property (IP) groups. Mr. Waldbaum will work his international practice out of the firm’s New York City office.

Mr. Waldbaum joins Rimon from Eaton & Van Winkle, where he was a Partner.

Mr. Waldbaum represents clients in bet-the-company matters, resolving patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret cases and business disputes. He has handled intellectual property cases and transactions with billions of dollars at stake, representing many Fortune 50 companies. He has also arbitrated more than 240 cases and mediated more than 40.

Mr. Waldbaum’s personalized attention to his clients has led to his being rated within the top 1% of IP lawyers in the New York metropolitan area for skill, experience, industry recognition, and integrity by Avvo.

At Rimon, Mr. Waldbaum will be joining a strong IP team of 17 Partners, including Matt Poppe, Zheng Liu, Gabriel Gregg, Peng Chen, and Laura Chavkin who joined Rimon this year. The IP team works closely with the Corporate, Tax, Private Client, and Litigation teams to ensure that our clients benefit from full-spectrum representation. With Rimon’s decentralized business model, Mr. Waldbaum can customize his service to each client to provide a unique experience.

Mr. Waldbaum earned his B.S. from Rutgers University in 1964, his M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1965, and his J.D., cum laude, from the New York University School of Law in 1970 where he was salutatorian and earned Order of the Coif.
