Former AUSA and Deputy D.A. obtained first-ever FCPA conviction on alternative nationality provision

Washington, D.C. – Rimon is proud to welcome former federal and state prosecutor and experienced regulatory focused litigator Jonathan Rosen, who has won over 100 trials, as a Partner in its Washington D.C. office.

Mr. Rosen joins Rimon from Polsinelli where he was a Shareholder and co-chair of the False Claims Act Defense Group.

Prior to that, he served in the U.S. Justice Department as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia where he notably obtained the first-ever conviction in the United States based on the alternative nationality provision of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Mr. Rosen also served as a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County.

Mr. Rosen is a seasoned advocate who vigorously defends and advises public companies, corporate executives, and individuals in complex civil, regulatory, and criminal law enforcement investigations and litigation.

With more than 25 years of experience in government investigations,  Mr. Rosen is regularly called upon to defend clients in high-stakes matters, involving alleged violations of the FCPA, Bank Secrecy Act, complex accounting and securities issues, fraud allegations, insider trading restrictions, health care law issues, off-label drug marketing restrictions, the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act, money laundering allegations, federal criminal tax issues, asset forfeiture claims, government contracting and procurement issues, the Martin Act, antitrust price fixing, and sanctions and procurement issues.

In addition to his public representations, Mr. Rosen is frequently retained by corporations and executive management to conduct internal investigations, provide advice during investigations, and advise clients on remedial measures, compliance programs and training.

Mr. Rosen graduated from Boston University Law School (J.D.) and Stanford University (B.A. with Honors, Phi Beta Kappa).
