Global law firm Rimon PC opens New Orleans office

Equipment finance expert Robert Thibeaux joins firm as Partner

New Orleans, LA –  Rimon is pleased to welcome equipment finance Partner, Robert Thibeaux to its new office in New Orleans, Louisiana. Rimon has been growing rapidly this year, having recently opened offices in Delaware, Frankfurt, Germany and Seoul, South Korea. New Orleans is Rimon’s 45^th location and the firm now has offices in 22 US states.

Prior to joining Rimon, Mr. Thibeaux was Partner at Carver Darden.

Mr. Thibeaux practices commercial finance, with a focus on marine finance and leasing, equipment financing and leasing, asset-based financing, factoring, and real estate finance. He is a member of the Louisiana State Law Institute and serves as Reporter for the Lease of Movables Committee of the Law Institute, which is currently in the process of revising Louisiana law on equipment leases.

Mr. Thibeaux is also a prior Chief Examiner of Code III of the Louisiana Bar Exam, which covers the laws of general obligations, sales, lease, mandate, pledge, suretyship, and mortgage. He is a Director and former Chairman of the Bank Counsel Section of the Louisiana Banker’s Association and is the Chairman of the Real Estate and Transactions section of the New Orleans Bar Association.

Mr. Thibeaux graduated from Louisiana State University (B.S., summa cum laude; J.D. summa cum laude, Order of the Coif.)
