Warsaw – Rimon is pleased to welcome corporate attorney Piotr Siemion, as Senior Counsel in the firm’s Warsaw office.

Mr. Siemion joins Rimon from energy company, PKN ORLEN S.A., where he was Director.

Mr. Siemion has over two decades of transactional experience, specifically in the areas of corporate law, corporate governance, regulatory and compliance, industrial restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, and private equity.  Mr. Siemion is a U.S. attorney, admitted to the New York bar, and has managed legal projects in the United States, Poland, Central Europe, Canada, and Israel.  As Director at PKN ORLEN S.A., he led joint ventures in the renewable energy sector.  Mr. Siemion has significant experience leading projects for large companies involving complex international joint ventures, upstream acquisitions, and capital group optimizations in the energy, finance, and telecommunications industries.  He also has prior experience as a corporate attorney for Weil, Gotshal & Manges, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and private equity.

Mr. Siemion received his J.D. from Columbia Law School (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar). He also received a Ph.D from Columbia University in the Humanities, where he was Fulbright Scholar and a Marjorie Nicholson Fellow, He received his M.A. from the University of Wroclaw, Poland.
