Washington D.C. – Rimon is pleased to welcome accomplished corporate and regulatory Partner Daanish Hamid to its Washington D.C. office 

Mr. Hamid joins Rimon from DLA Piper, where he was Partner. Prior to that, he was Partner at Cooley LLP and at Winston & Strawn LLP.  

Mr. Hamid’s practice covers mergers and acquisitions, private equity/venture capital, joint ventures, technology licensing, commercial transactions, and general corporate matters. He also advises clients on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and has led several successful CFIUS filings with respect to corporate deals. In addition, Mr. Hamid handles compliance and investigations involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), fraud, anti-money laundering laws, and economic sanctions. 

Mr. Hamid works with emerging businesses, multi-national public companies, PE/VC firms, and financial institutions. Several of his clients are involved with software, semiconductors, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence/big data, autonomous vehicles, robotics, e-commerce, financial services, fintech, education, biotechnology, defense/aerospace, renewable energy, healthcare, and international development.

Mr. Hamid graduated from University of Oxford (B.A. Jurisprudence, English Law with Honors) and The George Washington University Law School (J.D.)
