Gabriel Gregg Elected President of the Santa Clara Bar Association

The Santa Clara County Bar Association, the preeminent bar association of Silicon Valley, recently announced that Rimon Partner, Gabriel Gregg, was elected as 2018 President-Elect, and thus will become the 2019 SCCBA President. The SCCBA’s announcement can be found here

Gabriel won the majority of the votes of the SCCBA membership in a contested election.  This position of leadership follows many years of voluntary SCCBA service by Gabriel in various other capacities.

Rimon is developing a bar-president tradition in Northern California, with Rimon Partner, Matt Poppe, having previously served as SCCBA President in 2016.  Rimon strongly supports and encourages its attorneys to contribute their time and effort to professional, academic, charitable and other important legal and community organizations.

Gabriel joined Rimon from Robinson & Wood, Inc., where he was a partner with a broad NorCal litigation practice, handling complex matters in a variety of areas including intellectual property, securities, unfair competition and class action defense, employment, white-collar matters, insurance litigation and coverage analysis, and general business litigation. He has also represented a variety of Asia-based clients in U.S. litigation arising out of troubled business relationships. Matt will continue litigating patent cases with a focus on computer networking, data storage, software, medical device, and semiconductor technologies.
