Rimon’s Dror Futter in the Financial Times “Guide to Bitcoin and Blockchain”

Venture capital and technology Partner, Dror Futter, spoke extensively with Financial Times for its Guide to help advisers understand the trends, opportunities and risks involved with Bitcoin and blockchain.

Among different topics, he discussed the driving rise in cryptocurrency over the past 7 years; blockchain’s potential uses in financial services, such as fintech or open banking; the opportunities and risks of using cryptocurrency; and how to smartly invest in and manage cryptocurrencies.

Dror Futter focuses his practice on startup companies and their investors, and has worked with a wide range of technology companies. His fifteen years’ experience as in-house counsel includes positions with Vidyo, Inc., a venture-backed videoconferencing company, and New Venture Partners, a venture fund focused on corporate spinouts. Prior to that, Mr. Futter was Counsel to the CIO of Lucent Technologies, as well as supporting parts of its sourcing organization.
Mr. Futter’s practice has four main focus areas, Venture Finance/Corporate, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies, Transactional IT & IP and External General Counsel. Prior to joining Rimon, Mr. Futter was a partner at the Newark, NJ-based McCarter & English law firm where he was part of the Corporate Department and Venture Capital Practice Group. Read more about Mr. Futter here.
