  • Representation of clients in administrative investigations carried out by the Colombian Competition Authority for the alleged use of restrictive practices of competition.
  • Representation of a publishing company in relation to a First Amendment defense to unfair competition.
  • Advising clients in Colombia on whether it is necessary to obtain government authorization in order to carry out certain business activities, and preparation of such documentation when required.
  • Representation of ticketing company in action against a rival ticketing company involving unfair competition claims.
  • Obtained an early dismissal for a national retailer in a consumer class action alleging deceptive pricing, false advertising and unfair competition under California Business & Professions Code Section 17200 and 17500 and California Civil Code Section 1750 (CLRA).
  • Representation of sugar and palm growers in litigation related to the application of the competition law of the CAN in Colombia (Decision 608).
  • Representation of a client in litigation concerning unfair competition and right of publicity liability for use of a computer-altered image of celebrity in magazine feature.
  • Representation of a wireless telecommunications provider in numerous consumer class actions involving claims of false advertising and unfair competition under California Business & Professions Code Section 17200, and improper collection of federal exercise taxes and sales taxes.
  • Serving as lead counsel to a medical device company in unfair competition litigation.
