New York, NY (February 11, 2014) Rimon, P.C. has added Timothy M. Gladden, a transactional attorney who has handled hundreds of deals for early stage and middle market companies, as a partner in its New York office.

Mr. Gladden joins Rimon from Gladden Legal Group. Prior to that, he co-led the emerging companies practice at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP. He was previously associated with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and Thelen LLP.

In joining Rimon, Mr. Gladden is teaming up with a firm that has been widely recognized as an innovator in the legal field, offering full service teams of highly-experienced attorneys with the ability to shift and adapt to client needs. Rimon’s corporate, litigation, intellectual property, tax and private client attorneys work as a close-knit team throughout its 15 offices internationally. The Financial Times recognized Rimon on its list of most innovative law firms and the firm’s managing partners were both named ‘Legal Rebels’ by the American Bar Association Journal.

Mr. Gladden represents clients in the full range of mergers and acquisitions (both buy and sell-side), venture capital and private equity investments, securities transactions, and other complex and general corporate matters. His work has touched on numerous market sectors, including technology, financial services, healthcare, advertising, media, fashion and energy.

He has been particularly active in venture capital work, where he has served as a mentor to and worked with companies participating in accelerators and incubators such as DreamIt Ventures, IncubateNYC, Socratic Labs and digitalundivided. Mr. Gladden also has served as outside general counsel to several venture-backed companies and has advised numerous women- and minority-owned and led businesses. He also has significant experience in drafting and negotiating license and commercial agreements including software, technology, trademark, design and patent licenses.

“Tim has great experience handling cutting edge work for venture-backed and established companies. The impressive range of transactions he has closed makes him a perfect fit for our group,” said Michael Moradzadeh, CEO of Rimon, P.C.

“Rimon has quickly acquired a name for itself as a great firm for clients looking for top attorneys to handle key transactions at a competitive rate. For early stage and middle market companies, the deals we handle are absolutely critical to their success, and they need experienced hands who can look ahead to avoid possible traps. Rimon attorneys have repeatedly shown that they have the know-how to handle these deals. I’m glad to be on the Rimon team and excited to be at a firm with a geographic footprint that stretches from Silicon Valley to Silicon Alley and from the Windy City to the Big Easy,” said Mr. Gladden.

Mr. Gladden received his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, his B.A., cum laude, from Hunter College – CUNY and also attended Princeton University.
