City of Belen announces new wind tower facility with expected $314 million economic impact

The City of Belen has announced that wind tower manufacturer, Arcosa, will be expanding into the city with a new facility. The facility is expected to create 250 local jobs and have an economic impact of $314 million over the next decade.

The agreement was facilitated through the use of industrial revenue bonds, economic development funds, and various real estate and tax incentives.
